Sunburst Inn is a home away from home! 😊 Goodness, this place is bright and colorfully decorated. It's so retro and tropical, right on the beach. Despite the morning rain when my husband and I stayed in this historic inn, we were able to relax and watch the waves under the pergola, on the beach, or near the cozy gas fire pit. What a sweet place to stay! ❤️

My friends and I stayed here from Monday- Wednesday morning in the Penthouse. We had the most amazing stay. The place is beautiful in itself, not to mention the employees and even the other guest were more than kind. The location of this hotel is right on the beach, so it was amazing waking up to the waves each morning. Waking up to seeing the ocean is a great way to start the day. This room has everything we needed from pots and pans to washer and dryers. They also had surf boards, paddle boards, and bikes that all the guests were able to use. We were more than pleased with our stay and will definitely be coming back!

As seen on TV, we took a 5 night vacation over the Christmas holidays. Jason & the lady in housekeeping were able to arrange early check-in. Location is super. Rooms are remodeled '50s-'60s retro and our room was a little tight, but we would return in a heart beat. The Gulf was literally outside our window. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Convenient to Clearwater & Tampa. Local health code prevents an onsite ice machine. This place is a great little vacation get away!

Sunburst Inn is the best hidden gem on Gulf Boulevard! We stayed there two nights this week, and I can’t wait to go back! The rooms are immaculate and everything is new and adorable. The bed was so comfortable that we slept in both mornings! I’d go back just for the rain shower in the bath! Oh - so relaxing. The amenities on the beachside are fabulous - from the so comfortable yellow zero gravity chairs to the pergola with the sofa for two - talk about relaxing. There is so much seating that we sat in everything. There are bicycles to use, paddle boards, etc. And…the beach is fabulous! So soft sand and the ocean is right there as soon as you walk out the door. It is walkable to many great restaurants- My favorite is Salt Rock Grill.

The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the beachside grill. With the sunset view, we savored the experience of grilling out right on the sand. It was a fun adventure that brought our family closer together, as we shared stories, laughter, and grilled out while watching the sunset. The joy on our kids' faces was priceless. The resort's family-friendly atmosphere, complete with a wide range of activities and amenities, ensured they were entertained from sunrise to sunset. From building sandcastles to exploring the ocean, they immersed themselves in the wonders of the beach, leaving us parents with moments of pure relaxation. But it wasn't just the activities that made our stay exceptional; it was the warm and attentive staff who went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Their genuine smiles and willingness to accommodate our every need added an extra layer of comfort to our stay. As the days melted into nights, we found ourselves drawn to the sound of the waves and the allure of those unforgettable sunsets. Each evening, we gathered on the beach, sipping our favorite drinks, and watched as the sun dipped below the horizon, casting a golden glow over the ocean. It was a moment of serenity and beauty that will forever remain etched in our hearts. This beachfront resort is a hidden gem of relaxation, adventure, and pure natural beauty. It's a place where family bonds are strengthened, where every sunset is a work of art, and where grilling out on the beach becomes a cherished memory. I was there on weekend with my dog and I couldn’t be more happier. The staff were super great and the room was super nice. I could wake up and sleep looking at an incredible view. I think one of the best things in the world is wake up and walk to the beach while you watch the sunrise, and staying at Sunburst Inn I could do that and also I could sleep listen to the ocean waves.

We loved our stay! The room was adorabley decorated and the property gave us everything we needed for our beach vacation! The use of a bicycle & paddleboards was such a fun addition. I also loved the extra attention for our dog between being provided dog bowls and an extra blanket when we arrived and the lower detachable shower head for getting him rinsed off at the end of the night.
